“Remember, remember, the fifth of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot.”
Having made a promise to the students that they could all have a night out by a camp fire one night, Duncan decided to go one further. After all, what better night to have it on that on Bonfire Night? Duncan really couldn’t think of one, especially as it was celebrated all over the country every year.
Not only had Duncan set up a large campfire out at the lake as well as tents for anyone wishing to stay out there for the whole night but he had set up a huge bonfire and organized food, drink, sparklers and so one for anyone who wanted them; as well as arranging fireworks and live music for the whole night. If all of those things weren’t enough to please the students and staff at the school along with anyone else who might wish to attend then Duncan really was at a loss for what would.
With everything in position, the bonfire and campfire were then lit, the band began to play and the first lot of fireworks were set off. That was the cue for those who wanted to attend to make their way down to the lake. Muttering a quick spell, a path from the castle to the lake was illuminated by lights so that the people wouldn’t have to worry about going the wrong way or falling into the lake. As funny as that would be, he couldn’t really do that to them. With any luck, the night would be a hit but there was only one way to find out.

Ariana began to circle around in the common room after she just heard someone announced the Bone fire event. Although it was naturally to her she would have never thought that her kind would mingle with other sorts. She went in her room and brushed her hair pinning it up in one. She had one her skinny jeans and a t-shirt that her mother gave her for good luck.
She hoped that when she go down their she would enjoy herself and hopefully meet some new friends and if she was luck get a boyfriend. Things like these events were for her to get use to herself being out more and to meet new friends. When she walked down to the area she saw how beautiful the night stars looked along with the lights that led the way. She curled her hands up in her shirt as she heard laughter and chatter that came from the students. I really hope I enjoy myself she thought while she pushed her hair back. As she reached close to the spot she spotted the Head Master and gave him a half smile, "Hi!" she said as she stood up.

Wysti was wandering. It was the only way she could describe it. She hadn't really intended to go to the bonfire but that is where her feet took her. Wysti's subconcious had apparently knew she was coming. She was wearing a soft blue chenille sweater and pair of hip hugging jeans. In other words she looked her age and definitely better than her normal appearance. She gave a soft smile as she saw all the hard work Duncan had put into the bonfire.
Giving the headmaster a cheery wave she skipped up to the fire to warm herself. November was definitely a chilly month. She looked up into the starlit night admiring the fireworks that were exploding, sending the entire area in sharp relief. Now only to wait for more people to show up. Wysti liked the headmaster but she wasn't comfortable enough to strike up a conversation with him.

Aaron made it to the party. He thought he would look nice. He was wearing a collared shirt unbuttoned with a white t-shirt tucked in with his pants held up by a belt. He figured he could dress normally. He saw a couple of girls and he smiled. They were both really cute. He looked at both of them and smiled. He walked passed them. He grabbed a drink and took a drink

A party! Jaxx was in one of her party moods. She slipped into her 'bad girl' outfit. Tight leather mini, bright red, and a skimpy halter top. Oh was it winter? Oh well. That's what happened whenever Jaxx was in one of her 'moods'. The woman was mercurial to the extreme. Dreamy one second and a tempest the next.
Her long dark hair swirled around her like a cloak. A much needed cloak. Shivering Jaxx made her way down to the lake, following the fireworks and the lovely lights. Jaxx skipped up and greeted the headmaster. Hmm, maybe she should skip the skipping, it didn't look sexy and sophisticated which is what she was shooting for tonight. She glared around in the shadows hoping NOT to see any of ehr family. They would probably make her 'put clothes on'.
Sidling up to the fire she nodded at the two girls she did see. A Slytherin and that Ravie girl...Wysti or something. Jaxx held her hands out to the raging flames and welcomed the warmth. Maybe dressing in her 'sexy' clothes ahdn't been such an inspired idea.

As the time passed by Ariana could see that more people arrived to the scence. The fire works shot lovely in the sky and while the stars twinkled and the moon smiled. Was she rhyming again..... never to guess or expect that form her.
She saw a boy walked passed her and smiled even to the young miss that was near the Bon fire.... she couldn't help but to smile back. She helped herself and took up a drink and began to drink it as she sat down near the fire another girl appeared and she tried to hold back a laugh because of what she was in.
Not to lash out on her but her wear wasn't proper but who cares she thought. She noddded back at her as she streched out her hands to get warmed up.

This was like a dream to him. It was a nice night, plenty of drinks and food, and all the cute girls a boy could want. He thought he would take the initiative. He went over to the Slytherin girl and sat next to her by the fire. "Hi. I'm Aaron Lewis." He said to her smiling. "Are you cold? Would you like my collared shirt?" He asked her. He was wearing the white t-shirt underneath so it was cool. Before she could answer, he took off his collared shirt and put it around her to keep her warm.

A court case had just finished, and Marc had been instructed to take the rest of the day off. He had been working overtime yet again and had worked through his sleeping hours. He'd eventually catch up on a few hours and go into work again, and work until 8:30 am, and then regain his sleeping hours. Seemed alright to him. But maybe not to his rather large family.
Marc was dressed in a suit, he'd taken off his tie, but he was still dressed in, the long sleeved white shirt, black trousers, shoes and the blazer. In all, he looked pretty smart for once. Well, apart from the untucked shirt. And his ID was still clipped onto the breast pocket of the Blazer. WCSI Belacqua, Level Two.
Yawning as he apparated outside the gates, Marc made his way through them, and toward the lake. Hmm. He had heard about the bonfire a few weeks back, at least he had a few hours to clear. So he could actually mingle and talk with people that weren't actually his coworkers for once. A tired grin crept up on his face as he got to the gathering of people.
''Hey Duncan''he called, and waved slightly, then he spotted Jaxx, and the ex-Gryffindor rolled his eyes at his year older sister. And as he approached her, he shrugged off his blazer, making sure to take the ID from it and slip it into his pocket. ''Hey Jaxx, you look pretty cold, take this''he chuckled, holding his jacket out to her.
''You all worry about me too much, so now its time for me to worry about you, I'm not letting you get pneumonia'' It was pretty suprising that Marc's tone was actually stern, he was usually the carefree one. Taking out his wand, Marc flicked it at his clothing, his shirt automatically changed to a long sleeved button up royal blue shirt, his black trousers to black jeans, and another black blazer over his shirt, and he clipped his ID onto the inside pocket. And his black shoes to some random pair of converse he owned.

She swirled her drink around and sipped some more, she was freezing but more people came as usual. She placed her drink on the ground and saw that someone was walking towards her. She rapped her hands around her hips which she unsuccessful tried to comfort herself.
With help on the way the young guy sat bedide her, she turned around which made her know facing him. He was cute and she couldn't resist talking to a sweet heart like him, especially when she could have got him as a friend. "Nice to meet you Aaron," she giggled," I'm Ariana Rubbystill."
If she got any wrong ideas it may have been because she was flirting with someone who she knew was younger than her. Then to her surprised her realized her problem without either asking twice, "Thanks!" she said smiling her charming smile.
"That's nice of you," she commented him again. Know as she got warmer she decided to ask him the question, "Lewis.... if you don't mind me asking...... but how old are you," a look of concern came over her.

It was a little cold that night, and Aubrey was trying to decide what jacket to wear out to the lake for the Bonfire Night, he grabbed his leather one and pulled it on over his blue button down shirt, and dark jeans. He looked good, and he hoped Zeigh would like it. He was going to be meeting her out at the lake, and he looked forward to it. They didn't spend a whole lot of time at the school together since they didn't have the same classes, so it was going to be nice to spend time together there for once, instead of at the house. Pulling on his shoes he headed down the stairs. " Guys I'm off!" he yelled up the stairs to his siblings, he wasn't sure if any of them were going or not, but they knew he was. He headed down the street and to the school.
When he arrived he saw that there weren't many people there yet, so he grabbed a drink and walked to the edge of the lake. He was hoping for Zeigh to be there soon, as he didn't really know the people that were there already. He looked down and grabbed a stone and tried to skip it across the lake. It did a couple times and then sunk. Shrugging he downed the drink and pulled a face, he didn't know what it was but he didn't like the sour after taste. Walking back to the refreshment table he grabbed a butterbeer instead and started drinking that, at least it was warmer and it was pretty cool out. He took a seat on the grass and watched the people around him.

"Nice to meet you Ariana." Aaron replied with a smile. "No problem." He smiled at her. Her charming smile just made him feel comfortable. She was a nice and cute girl. "I might look punky and wild but I don't wish harm to anyone." He told her honestly. "I am 15. I am about to turn 16 soon.... in a couple of months." He told her. He knew she was older and more mature than he could ever be. "I hope I not too young." He wondered why she was asking but he shrugged that off. His English was still rusty.

Lucifer had just finished his days work in the forbidden forest. That lesson had been awesome. Punching a tree and watching it explode into little splinters was always a cool trick to show the class. Reading every mind that gathered around him was even more cool and their faces were priceless as he read their every private thought that they would never wanna share. Sure, it was an invasion of privacy, but hey that was Lucifer for you. Abusing his mind reading powers just wouldnt be who Lucifer was
Taking a drink of jack daniels straight from the bottle, Lucifer began chugging it on his way back up to the castle to prepare for his third lesson, when he saw the fireworks. How cool was that! Tonight must be Bonfire night. heading to the lakefront, lucifer saw 3 students and a few adults. Cracking a grin at aubrey and then at Wysteria, Lucifer toasted the bottle at them and continued on walking.
Reaching Marc and Duncan, Lucifer offered the bottle to both of them. "Whats a bonfire night without a bit of drinking right?" lucifer told them both, flashing them both a lazy grin. He was feeling so content lately, that it wasnt even lazy. Whoever said that a vampire couldnt get somewhat drunk really had to be lying to you, because Lucifer felt somewhat drunk. And a bit numb too. Was that good or bad?

Rori walked to the bonfire, hating herself. How had she found herself sitting in the common room, bored, with nothing better to do than to join the others at the bonfire? There was bound to be people there she didn't like. And there would be professors all over the place so she would have to pretend to be nice.
She walked over to an empty log and sat down. Her eyes flashed in the glow of the fire but that didn't stop someone from sitting down next to her. She didn't look at the person until they spoke to her.

Jackson Beck almost always went to every social event that he could. It was just part of who he was--he loved being surrounded by friends and meeting new people. The bonfire sounded especially like a lot of fun. He wasn't exactly the outdoorsy type--his mother had hardly ever let him leave the house when he was a child for fear that he was deathly allergic to dogs or grass--but he did enjoy spending time with nature. Dressed lightly and casually enough in a pair of jeans and a v-neck grey t-shirt, a simple gold chain strung around his neck, Jackson made his way out of the lake, his hands slung casually in his pockets.
He glanced over to the girl walking next to him. He couldn't help the white, near glow-in-the-dark smile from crossing his face as he reached for her small, soft hand. Jackson knew that he could be disarmingly honest and emotional at the times, but since he'd started seeing Gina, he hadn't really noticed other girls. Before--even though he was polite and never made a girl do anything she didn't want to do--he hadn't hestitated to flirt with a girl he found attractive. But now, the other girls who walked past him in the hallway were just faces in a crowd. He couldn't remember the last time he had checked out a girl, nonetheless stared at one--though he was sure some girs thought he was checking them out. Insecure girls were known to accuse a good-looking guy of being a sex obsessed sleeze.
Lifting her hand to his mouth, he gently pressed his lips against her hand. Reminding himself that she hated PDA, he kept himself from sweeping her into his arms and kissing her in front of everyone. He was so affectionate with his words and his deeds--and Gina hadn't complained yet. "Ready for this party, my dear?" he asked with a grin. "If things get too dull, we could just retire to the tents..." He wiggled his eyebrows at her in a "suggestive" way, although anyone who knew Jackson would know he wasn't the type to insinuate that type fo intimacy out in the open.

OOC: I've been having unbelievable Jason muse lately so I kinda went all out in this post... xD
Jason had told Koti that he would be spending the night and next day at the castle so he could catch up on some school work that he had apparently slept through. How was he supposed to know that Professors assigned school work during the classes - it wasn't his fault he was so damn tired all the time. So he slept in his Dormitory for the first time in a while and the next day he got some work done, followed by catching up on sleep that he had missed as well. Alright - so he had caught up on more sleep than schoolwork but oh well, what was a few days more that his work was late?
Not able to sleep any longer because of the annoying loud conversations that floated up from the Slytherin Common Room, Jason groaned and rolled over in bed after he heard - what had to be the fifth or so time - about this Bon Fire Night that Duncan was hosting. That explained the loud booms that came from outside the window and the flashes. Finally having enough of the noise and knowing he'd never fall asleep, Jason sat up and pulled on a pair of jeans. Reaching under his bed, he grabbed a white t-shirt and pulled it on. Time to see what this whole Bon Fire night was all about, he headed towards the door of his Dormitory - grabbing his leather jacket on the way out. Maybe this Bon Fire night was a huge event but Jason decided to dress casual.
Hands deep in his pockets, Jace headed out to the lawns and passed a bunch of over-excited students on the way out. You would think they had never seen fireworks before or a fire for that matter. It seemed like he wasn't the first one here; there were a bunch of students and staff already here - including Lucifer, Aubrey Adreyson, and that one dude who tried to make himself seem gangster but failed miserably. It looked like acting gangster wasn't all he failed miserably at - flirting and impressing a girl was right up there with it. Jason paused a moment to catch Lucifer's eye and nodded with a smile - the two hadn't ever spoken much, but Jason owed him a great deal for being present to make sure nothing went wrong - which nothing did go wrong.
Jason made his way to the long table that held food and drinks, he grabbed a butterbeer and leaned against the table as he took a long drink from the bottle. Lowering the bottle, he took in his surroundings slowly and caught sight of Aubrey who had taken a seat on the grass - probably waiting for his girlfriend Zeigh, no doubt. Slowly his thoughts turned to Amelia and the night he had revealed his new species to her. She had reacted as he had expected but the fact that she still wanted to speak to him - that surprised him a little, but he was completely happy about that. Sure they couldn't be together anymore because he loved Koti more than anything, he had given up his mortal life for her but didn't mean they still couldn't be friends.
