When you were little, what did you dream of? Was it a far away place like Hangman’s Hollow or a Wonderland full of talking flowers and Mad Hatters? Did you and your stuffed animal lay upon the grass in Candy Land and look up at the stars, thinking or how much fun a world of wonder is, thinking of the funny way your stomach feels when you smell your mothers cookies? Well, the glamorous people of Murky Meadows don’t really lie upon the stars anymore and dream of such wonders.

They lay in hotel rooms naked with the ‘next rock star’, and think about what this will do to their image, and how much of a material gain they can get from this night time escapade. In Murky Meadows the girl you have known for your whole life, the girl you think can and will complete you, will stab you in the back the first chance she gets. In Murky Meadows your best friend can run off with your job in a matter of minutes. Nothing is safe in this place, not even your life.

Money is a valued more then life itself and life really isn’t that great for most of our residents. We have whores, we have the desperate, we have the worthless, we have the druggies, we have the outcast, and we have all the people you will meet in hell.

The people have lost their way, and don’t know what it means to live in a world full of love and wonder; they know what it means to survive. They are the beautiful disasters you hear about on the news, they are they people who had the world at their feet, and closed the door on it.

Some say there is no god here; others say it is the original sin city. But yet, still the young, beautiful and dangerous are still drawn to the glamour of Murky Meadows and all its contents. Some of the people still have that childhood dream of gumdrop trees and talking flowers. In fact, it has been said that if you take a minute to look up at the sky of Murky Meadows, you will see everything every child has ever dreamed of, and that the city just screams wonderland. It seems to have this gravitational pull on you, like Times Square in New York, or the lights of Paris. It truly is what every little boy and girl dreamed of, Neverland truly is real.

Perhaps it is childhood wonder; or just a general feel for that live fast, die pretty lifestyle. Whatever it is Murky Meadows seems to have it, no matter how messed up the people who reside in the place are. The real world just doesn’t matter anymore, and mother’s cookies seem so fake now to those ten thousand dollar chocolate chips Chanel is coming out with…
