Hogwarts Reunited use to be an active site with over 300 people joining in new adventures every day, since then it was deleted. Why? Well as it happens to almost every site it begins to die out. However we are back now, and ready to set course for some new adventures. Ones that can be unforgettable. Round the clock support, always willing to help you, always updating to make it bigger, better and interactive as much as possible. So if you're interested in seeing what HR is about, please stop in and take a look. If you don't join that's ok, leave us a comment in our Guest Book to let us know what you think. We offer many positions that are currently open, this includes Site Staff Positions. We don't want to give you too much information, you'll just have to check it out for yourselves.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
o Active, Friendly Site Staff
I don’t know about everyone else, but I like to join a site where the administration is active and friendly. On HR you will not have to worry about rude administration (unless you do something that really makes us mad). The administrators and moderators are active, helpful, and friendly. If you need assistance, they are there to assist you. If you have a question, they are there to help you. If you want to RP, they are willing (though it may take some time since they’re busy with admin things). Whatever you need, the administrators and moderators can help you with.
o Opportunity
Some sites have very strict limitations. Some sites don’t have any limitations at all. Either way, things such as that can limit the role-playing experience and the possible opportunities. Limiting things too much leaves no room for opportunity. Not limiting anything scares you into doing nothing because you don’t know what will get you into trouble. On HR we have just enough rules in place to limit certain aspects while at the same time leaving a chance for you to explore and expand.
How do we give opportunity?
We offer members to give their input on plot ideas. We give members the chance to create their own characters without harsh limitations on what they can be or do (though there are some). We also allow members the chance to think of and possible create clubs/organizations to get them more active.
o The Attack Button
Are you tired of characters who dodge every spell? Are you tired of people godmodding? Well, on HR, we offer something called an ‘attack button’. The attack button is used when two or more characters are casting spells at each other, possible in DADA or in the corridors dueling. You simply push the attack button, which can be found with the other coding buttons. When you post, the attack button decides how accurate your spell was or how inaccurate it was. The person posting next will take that into consideration.
For instance, if the attack button says that your spell was 26% accurate, there is a fairly slim chance of the spell hitting the person who you were trying to hit. However, if it says that the spell was 89% accurate, the person below will more than likely be hit with the spell.
This should eliminate some of the problems as far as spell-casting and dueling go. It helps determine whether or not a person is successful in casting their spell and hitting his target.
o The Wand Chooser
Some people like making the HPRPG experience realistic. Well, for those of you who want it to be as realistic as possible, we at HR offer a wand chooser. This is not a person who selects your wand according to your attributes, likes and dislikes, or strengths and weaknesses. Rather, it is a button located in Ollivander’s Wand Shop. You simply click on the picture of Ollivander, and it will give you a wand at random without inputting any type of information.
o HR Mentor Department
There are those of us who feel that our role-playing skills are not up to par. There are also those of us who feel that we can improve. If you are one of these people, you can take a trip to our mentoring board where people who know role-play and who know what they’re doing can assist you in whatever you need help on. If you need help on length, the mentors can help you. If you need help on content, the mentors can help you. If you just want to improve even though you’re already really great, feel free to come and improve some. Oooooor, if you want to HELP mentor those who need assistance in role-playing, feel free to join the mentoring staff! Just ask an administrator and get information about it.
